Patricia Bartolome Del Canto comes to LFA from West Virginia University where she has been completing a Master’s Degree in TESOL and Linguistics, having just graduated this past month. Patricia grew up in Salamanca, Spain, and she attended undergrad at the University of Salamanca, majoring in Translation and Interpreting. Following that, she was planning on coming to the United States, but the start of COVID put those plans on hold. As a result, she shifted course and attended the University Pontificia of Salamanca, where she earned her first Master’s Degree in Education. You’ll see here pictures of Patricia with her cohort from West Virginia University as well as her family. At LFA, Patricia will teach both French, in which she is fluent, and Spanish, her native tongue. She will help time JV Field Hockey in the fall. She also has extensive experience with Dance, and will be the Assistant Coach for Dancing in the Winter. She also lives on campus and is a dorm parent in Marshall Field.
