BEACON ACADEMY: 0
LFA swept all five matches in a 5-0 win over Beacon Academy.
No. 1 Singles: Carson Emery ’25 posted an impressive 6-1, 6-1 victory.
No. 1 Doubles: Jax Kelly ’25 and Quinn Knight ’24 won their match in straight sets by scores of 6-0, 6-4.
No. 2 Doubles: Jimmy Yu ’24 and Jim Nguyen ’24 had to go three sets to secure the win. After claiming the first set with a 6-3 score, the duo’s second-set comeback came up short in a 6-4 decision. The Caxys pulled away in the third set super tiebreaker and won with a score of 10-4.
No. 3 Doubles: Marvin Ma ’24 and Andrew Wong ’24 won in two sets with a 6-3 win in the first before rallying in a 7-5 win in the second set.
No. 4 Doubles: Toby Nelson ’24 and Teagan Hubbard ’24 didn’t drop a game in a 6-0, 6-0 win over their opponents.
