Multiple First-Place Finishes Lead Girls Varsity Swimming Past Wheeling

The Caxy swimming team recorded a first-place finish in all but one event en route to a 102-49 win over visiting Wheeling. The first-place 200 freestyle relay squad included Kate Graham ’24, Tuana Turhan ’24, and Defne Kocak ’26. Alexandra Fernandez ’25 showed great determination, swimming uninterrupted when her goggles fell off in the 100 freestyle, and in addition to a photo-finish in the 200 freestyle.
