LATIN SCHOOL OF CHICAGO: 67.00
One record fell and others were threatened as the Caxys defeated Latin, 101-67, in a dual meet at the LFA Pool on Senior Night. Defne Kocak ’26 set a new school mark in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.22. She eclipsed the previous record of 25.40. The 50 freestyle saw the Caxys take the top three spots with Kocak, Kate Graham ’24, and Advika Rangan ’24 leading the field. LFA claimed two relays with the 200 medley (Victoria Kim ’25, Bao Le ’25, Rangan, Graham) and the 200 freestyle (Kocak, Kim, Tuana Turhan ’24, Graham). Turhan also won the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly while Yiwen Lu ’25 won the 200 IM, Graham won the 100 freestyle, Kim won the 100 backstroke, and Kocak finished first in the 100 breaststroke.
