Records Fall as Girls Varsity Swimming Competes at ISL Championships

The girls swimming team won seven events en route to finishing second in the ISL Championships. Tuana Turhan ’24 (200 freestyle, 100 butterfly) and Defne Kocak ’26 (200 IM, 100 breaststroke) each won two individual titles while Kate Graham ’24 won the 50 freestyle. LFA also took first in the 200 medley relay (Victoria Kim ’25, Kocak, Turhan, Graham) and the 200 freestyle relay (Graham, Kocak, Kim, Turhan). Both winning relay teams set new school records with a 200 medley time of 1:52.88 and a time of 1:44.49 in the 200 freestyle relay. Turhan also broke her own school mark in the 100 butterfly with a winning time of 58.97.
