Lake Forest Academy bounced back in the second game of the Round Lake Tournament with a come-from-behind win over Zion-Benton. Zion-Benton scored the first two goals of the game before LFA took advantage of an own goal early in the second frame that led De’Avon Garcilazo ’25 scoring to tie the match at 2-2. With the clock winding down, Luke Feltzin ’24 sent a beautiful cross into the box for Jason Lan ’27 to finish it in the bottom corner. Zion-Benton had one final chance on a free kick from just outside the penalty box that keeper Shunta Nambara ’24 deflected off the crossbar to seal the win for the Caxys.
