Girls Varsity Golf Finishes Second at ISL Championships

The Caxys finished second at the ISL Championships that were played at the Harborside International Golf Center. LFA combined to shoot 370 which was just behind University High at 365. Bela Bock ’25 led the team and finished in a tie for third overall with a round of 86. Olivia Rogalski ’25 also finished in the top 10 in sixth place after carding a score of 87.

LFA faced Regina Dominican at Glencoe Prairie Club. The Caxys took the match with great performances by Almira Tepe ’25 (38), Bela Bock ’25 (39), Olivia Rogalski ’25 (40), and Mary Rivera-Scheeringa ’26 (42).

The Caxys finished second out of five teams competing at the Blue Devil Invitational hosted by Warren Township. The event took place at Bittersweet GC and three LFA golfers finished in the top 10 with Almira Tepe ’25, Bela Bock ’25, and Olivia Rogalski ’25.

The boys and girls varsity golf teams joined forces last weekend to play in the inaugural Carmel Catholic Mixed Two-Person Scramble. It was a fun event with some impressive golf being played. There were five teams competing, and LFA finished in a tie for third. The mixed pairings scored as follows: Almira Tepe ’25/Trevor Reenan ’25 (71), Nick Heise ’25/Bela Bock ’25 (70), Olivia Rogalski ’25/Ethan Dandrow ’25 (78), and Quinn Knight ’24/Elyse Zhang ’25 (69).

The Caxys started the year with a great outing on a beautiful afternoon at Lake Bluff Golf Course. The team went to work on the links with outstanding scores all around to come away with a 44-stroke victory (182-226) over University High. Bela Bock ’25 was the medalist for the match with a score of 39.
