Girls Junior Varsity Field Hockey

Emily Kalis joined Lake Forest Academy’s Admission team in Fall 2018 after serving as the Alumni Coordinator at Rumsey Hall School (Conn.) for two years. She graduated high school from Western Reserve Academy (Ohio) and college from Wake Forest University (N.C.) with a bachelor’s degree in politics and international affairs. Emily recently completed her Master of Science in Corporate and Organizational Communications with a concentration in Public and Media Relations from Northeastern University (Mass.), which she utilizes in her work at LFA by designing and editing the Admission Office’s digital and printed publications and social media initiatives with the Communications Office. She resides in Marshall Field where she is the dorm head, assists English teacher Lydia Wells as a co-advisor, and serves as the head coach for JV field hockey and assistant coach for varsity lacrosse. Emily values the long-standing traditions of LFA, but her favorite events are the underrated moments in the year such as move-in during preseason, student-led morning meetings, and the fall play and winter musicals’ dress rehearsals.
