Biography:
Tanika Golota joined Lake Forest Academy as the Assistant Director of Summer Programs and the Athletics Coordinator in 2021 and was named Assistant Athletics Director in July 2023. Prior to LFA, Tanika had worked within social services and the education field for the past 13 years. She has served as a high school college counselor but later transitioned into the mental health field. During that time, she worked extensively within recreational management and coaching for youth and adults with disabilities (QIDP Certified). Tanika first joined LFA as an employee in 2017 as the girls basketball coach and later served as a Marshall Field House dorm parent. Tanika was a former collegiate basketball player and has coached varsity level basketball for over five years. Tanika holds a bachelor’s degree from North Central College, along with being state certified with IHSA Coaching and Sports First Aid. She is also a Registered Athletic Administrator (RAA). Currently, Tanika is the head coach of JV girls basketball and leads the Caxy Athletics Team committee to help increase school spirit at LFA. Tanika’s husband, Ted, also works at LFA as a math teacher and head track and field coach. They reside on campus in Remsen Cottage with their three daughters: Ludmila, Anna, and Sofiya.
Biography:
Keily Pacheco joined the College Counseling office in 2022. She previously worked as an Assistant Director of Admission and Coordinator for Multicultural Recruitment at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa., where she obtained her bachelor's degree in sociology. Previous to her time in college admission, Keily was a college advisor through the Pennsylvania College Advising Corps, a national cohort program that recruits recent college graduates and places them in local high schools to assist students with the college application process. She lives on campus and is a dorm parent in Marshall Field House.
